• Operational Data: Attendance logs, visitor records, and facility usage history.
• Financial Information: Transaction history, rent payment records, and security deposit details.

3. Use of Information

We use the collected data strictly for the following business purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Hostax platform features.
• To facilitate rent collection and financial reporting for property owners.
• To ensure the safety and security of hostel premises through digital record-keeping.

4. Data Security

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain data as long as the property owner maintains an active account with us. Upon account termination, data is archived for a period of 90 days, after which it is permanently purged from our primary database systems, unless retention is required for legal or regulatory purposes.

6. Third-Party Services

We may engage third-party service providers (such as cloud hosting and payment gateways) to perform functions on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of the data they process.
